Meet The Photographer

MALORRIE NADEAU

Malorrie is a photographer rooted in Northern Maine and calls the Katahdin Region her home. She is mostly self taught, however she has taken a few photography classes. She learns by doing, practicing, growing & being patient with herself and others. Her vision is unique and she focuses on the light of grace, unity & the comfort of the presence of God, the maker of all things. She started her photography journey when she was a teen, photographing her peers and has always had a love for photographing old withered things, abandoned places, and most recently, flowers. She left her jobs at a restaurant and a gym in 2016 to pursue her photography business. She didn't realize what a healing, humbling journey that would be. Malorrie has walked through the darkness, and has seen a great light. She strives to capture images that bring out the light in others, as well as portray a message of hope, redemption, joy, & freedom. She's thankful for the support of her family, who bought her her first camera as well as paid her way through Community College. She's a grateful member of the recovery community, and is featured on the Pir 2 Peer Recovery Facebook page with her series "Eyes of Recovery". She's photographed dozens of weddings, senior portraits, couples, engagements, and families. She would love to capture your life & memories!
